A Thread Lift is a quick, in-office procedure used to tighten and lift areas of the face experiencing signs of aging, such as cheeks, jawline, and neck.

This treatment can be a great solution for those who are unhappy with lax or sagging skin but aren’t yet ready to have facelift surgery. Thread Lifts may be used together with other anti-aging procedures, depending on your goals and what Dr. Roth feels would best suit your skin needs.

What is a Thread Lift?

A Thread Lift is a procedure that uses dissolvable sutures (or threads) to tighten and lift areas of the face experiencing signs of aging. The most commonly treated areas are cheeks, jawline, neck, and eyes.

The threads that we use have been used in other surgical procedures since the 1980’s. They’re made from a colorless polyester that breaks down in your body between 6 to 12 months.

What is the Recovery Time Like?

Recovery is quick, with most patients resuming normal activities as soon as the next day.

The threads can provide a moderate facelift, tighten skin, and encourage collagen production for a rejuvenated appearance.
It’s less invasive and much less expensive than a surgical facelift – recovery is minimal and results last up to a year!
